Am I turning into Lisa Simpson?
Posted by Jeff on Wednesday, 28 June, 2006

No, my skin colour isn’t turning yellow, my hair isn’t becoming spikey, and I’m not losing one finger per hand. Rather, I took this quiz I found via this post on this site.
My results:
You scored as Buddhism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Buddhism. Do more research on Buddhism and possibly consider becoming Buddhist, if you are not already.
In Buddhism, there are Four Noble Truths: (1) Life is suffering. (2) All suffering is caused by ignorance of the nature of reality and the craving, attachment, and grasping that result from such ignorance. (3) Suffering can be ended by overcoming ignorance and attachment. (4) The path to the suppression of suffering is the Noble Eightfold Path, which consists of right views, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right-mindedness, and right contemplation. These eight are usually divided into three categories that base the Buddhist faith: morality, wisdom, and samadhi, or concentration. In Buddhism, there is no hierarchy, nor caste system; the Buddha taught that one’s spiritual worth is not based on birth.

Satanism? That’s pretty scary.

Actually I have studied Buddhism in school and the core values match me quite well. I just always thought I was more of the Meh variety.
And Wendy, I saw a result for satanism elsewhere, and the description wasn’t about being evil and worshipping the devil, but rather focusing on the individual. It has a bum rap just like paganism.

yes…go to the Church of Satan by Anton Levey. Mostly Satanist are a bunch of ego maniacs only in this world for themselves. Plus, they have some kooky holidays and unusual costumes. creepy music. Mostly harmless to others.
The “don’t have a cow” is a Simpsons reference…do you not watch the show? Curious.

I fully recognized the Bart Simpson “don’t have a cow, man” reference. And I have seen virtually every episode (though the last couple of seasons have been paling by comparison). Just the don’t have a cow felt so 90’s. Like a character based on a one dimensional catch-phrase.
If anyone needs me I’ll be in my room.
