Working afternoon/late shifts has it’s pluses and minuses. Pluses include not being in a rush to get out the door, having a good meal before I go, not running into rush hour traffic, and heck, I can even do a blog post 
Minuses, however, entail getting home late, not eating dinner until late, and messing up my already messed up body clock. But I was not prepared for one thing.
While waiting to see some of the Italy / Germany semi-final (by the way, go Italy), I caught the last few minutes the Kim Clijsters / Na Li match, which Clijsters won. And the parting shot taken before the return to studio was Clijsters removing her armbands and throwing them into the crowd, a la babyfaces from the WWE. This evoked a wrestling inspired image, to which I have just one rebuttal:
DON’T TAKE ANY MORE OFF. PLEEEEEAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEE!!!
