I know, I’ve been away for months. Haven’t posted consistently in, oh, say a year. I’ve got a new lease on life, and a new blog. Check it out.
P.S. I will continue to post here as well. Mild changes coming soon.

Gone fishing skiing…

Be back in a week (well, unless I find a hook up at Big White).
That is all.
P.S. If you miss me (which I doubt), help my city grow.
For those of you who read Dawn’s blahg, you may know she wrote this post about Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome, or PTLS in short. Having been through the procedure of tubal ligation herself, she has strong concerns around the conditions as a result. What has really been surprising is the amount of response this post has garnered. Over sixty comments and a first page Google hit really shows the strength of the concern regarding PTLS.
However, not many resources exist in regards to PTLS. Many in the medical community disregard PTLS as any form of a health risk , and what information exists is few and far between. In response, and seeing the strength a single post has generated, Dawn has set up this forum in order to spread the word about the health effects and variety of concerns and issues surrounding PTLS.
Please feel free to visit the forum, leave a comment, and write a post linking back to the forum so that we can spread the word and educating others about the effects involved with PTLS.
Regards
Well, for the consistent, day by day readers (all five of you out there), I’ve changed the template. Simply put, I needed a change on this blahg. Not had too too much to say lately (well, on the funny front… lately I have the feeling my ‘humour’ has a little too much of a sadistic edge). Also, to be noted, I have become slightly addicted to Facebook. So, as such…
Though as a note to spammers (and shit disturbers and the like), I don’t just auto add anyone. I really do have to know you before I do add. Just so you know…
Hopefully, I will have something useful to post soon.
That is all.
Well, short of having the dot com registered. Mind you nobody actually owns it, and come pay day (read Friday), I might just very well register it.
The site that will soon be jeffvickers dot com, in it’s first version, can be found here.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
That is all.
Well, kind of. What a trying week. Nothing like a peaceful, warm holiday season with the family. But not for us. Not one bit of that. A fire in the apartment complex, a fried PC, loads of tension, too much commercialism, and a cat who just ate one of our two finches.
Luckily, we’re not burned, the tension has subsided, we found the other finch, Dawn hasn’t killed the cat (yet), money’s coming back in rather than out, and we’ve replaced the power supply on the PC (hence I’m making this post). You would think after a week I’d have something more to say, but I don’t. Meh.
Thanks to Peter, Heath, and Todd for your well wishes and PC advice.
Happy New Year.
I really can’t be assed to say much about this. It sucks when people are homeless. It sucks when people are hurt.
But it really sucks when it happens to a building in your apartment complex. Luckily, it wasn’t my building. Though emergency personnel shut off power, the switch back on fried my PC also. As such, I will be online very intermittently until further notice. As it stands, it may take months to buy a new PC.
Down, but not out.
That is all.
Unfortunately, some events have an effect on you that sometimes you just can’t comprehend or overcome.
Like this.
My thoughts and prayers are with Habs GM Bob Gainey and his family.
That is all.
At least, not yet. I spent all of last weekend moving house to picturesque Surrey, BC. As such, I still haven’t quite set up internet as of yet.
Soon, hopefully.
