Some guys have all the luck

And, in case you haven’t been reading, it sure as hell hasn’t been me. Latest case in point… wedding plans.
Yes, as Dawn and I arrange our wedding for (hopefully) 14 October of this year, I have been asking a dear mate of mine, Todd, for various tidbits of advice along the way.
However, his response typically is the same:
I know it is difficult to get these things organized… it’s why I left it to Mandy!
Now myself, as a male, though devoted to his bride to be, I have absolutely NO SENSE OF STYLE OR FASHION OR THE LIKE FOR A WEDDING. I tried explaining to Dawn that Mandy did all the planning for her and Todd’s wedding, and we should excersise the same practice. However, that suggestion was met with the threat of my losing some or all of my genetalia.
Strike one.
Needless to say, for academic purposes, I decided to inquire as to what Todd’s strategy was to convince his wife to do all the arrangements. His response?
It wasn’t hard — after the first huge argument she decided that if we intended to marry at all we shouldn’t work together!
Suffice to say, when you ask a woman why in Gods name I should give a fuck what colour the flowers on the table are, she gets offended for some reason.
Now, maybe I’m just a bit nervous, but this just seems like strike two to me. I like my bits where they are. If anyone has suggestions, please submit them here, and cross post to Dawn’s blog.
That is all.
