I really shouldn’t be feeling so worn out…

But alas, corporate America does have that effect. And I do say that as the current employer of mine is a US based multi-national. Bah. Something has to be said for the right wing fags in power in these big companies when they barely reward the highest producing, smartest, and strongest employees, but promote incompetence, distrust, and ethical questionability. Luckily though, I think I have a strong lead to get to another employer. Granted, the political bullshit will probably be the same, but fuck, I’ll be payed $10,000 more per year with more perks.

Whoopie! However, creative Jeff seems to be stifled. I just can’t get motivated to write about a great deal of topics that occur to me. However, with my cousin in town this past weekend, photography still can keep the creative juices flowing. So, as seeing I have a shitload of pictures I have NOT posted, empty days will at least be a photoblahg or two.

As such, something from my ski binge at Big White:

Snowboarders and Snowghosts

Also, help grow the population of my city, New Delphi.

Interdum vos ut volvo ferreus six.

So much to do

And so little time. Sadly, I have been back from vacation a week (those who read Dawn’s blog has already figured that out. I should really petition to put about 48 hours in one day (while still only working 8 per 48 hour day).

Hopefully, a decent post Sunday. Until then, a pic from the week of skiing:

Jeff and his Dad

That is all.

Simply one thing to say…

Gone fishing skiing…

Freestyle Jump

Be back in a week (well, unless I find a hook up at Big White).

That is all.

P.S. If you miss me (which I doubt), help my city grow.

30 days of pre-vis

With all the facucta nonsesne in my ‘Golden World’ lately, mostly surrounding misreading friends who stab you in the back, and of course the nonsense going on at work with really petty superiors, it becomes easy to lose focus. I did not come out here to NOT work in film. I did not leave family and friends behind NOT to find any new, real friends. But, through the crap, sometimes it’s very hard to lose sight of what’s important.

Being a filmie, there starts to become a very simple way regain focus. Pre-vis. Or, for those NOT in the know (Todd this category always seems to revolve around you) pre-visualization. In filmic terms, storyboarding, animatics, and roughly shot video footage fall in this category. It helps bridge the gap from imagination to tangiability.

Like the next month. Ughh. It’s gonna be hell. Work is the worst in the upcoming month. But one month from now, less one day, I will be here. And to ease the next month, to bridge the gap I will endure, I had to do the following pre-visualizational technique:

Jeff Skiing Pre-vis 1

Jeff Skiing Pre-vis 2

My Gods, I make this look good!

That is all.
